I’m down here on the sideline I’m about to tell Kay call the dogs off lol but on a serious note this game reminds me why Beaumont needs to have one high school & stop splitting up the talent.

Where would you put all those kids? You'd have to build a new school... I doubt BISD would get the votes for a bond, not to mention the economy, supply chain issues, high interest rates, and inflation. It's definitely not a good time.

Easy go drive an hour up the road & look at Galena Park blue print…have you a 9th grade campus, 10th grade campus & then your 11-12 campus easy fix but people have to get out of the small town mindset & be willing to evolve

Need to put those old politics aside and combine schools. As a graduate of BISD, it’s sad to see a once strong football town to be this bad.

So, Beaumont with a population of 115K with one high school.  I submit as evidence Alief and Plano as ISDs with huge schools and no success in football.  When the UIL works their majic in '24, the 6A cutoff number will rise, which should drop WB and BU to 5A D1.  All the growth is west of the Trinity river
