OlDawg Posted October 9, 2022 Report Posted October 9, 2022 Being new to the district, still somewhat new to 5A, and seeing a highly likely logjam at Seeds 3 and 4 in 8-5A D1, does anyone know this year’s scenarios? Head to head? Points? Coin Flip? Any info on what the schools agreed to? Quote
LoboFan07 Posted October 9, 2022 Report Posted October 9, 2022 Each district is able to set their own tiebreaker rules, which makes figuring things out a little dicey. Most of the time it's head to head if it's just two teams. If it's three teams, usually it's points against one another, the one with the lowest point total is taken out and then the head to head between the remaining teams decides the seeding etc. Someone with access to the coaching staff would need to confirm with them on 8-5A's. Hagar Posted October 9, 2022 Report Posted October 9, 2022 With District 10-4A-1 starting off with two upsets (Vidor & Livingston), this District may be looking at tie breaking scenarios too. And if either of those two upset teams wins this coming Friday, may need to use NASA’s computer. 😂😂😂☠️☠️☠️😂😂😂 RETIREDFAN1 1 Quote
