Hate to agree with a Panther but probably right. I'd say AP by 3 scores. EC may have looked okay in their first 2 district games, but being against inferior opponents I would not say they will put up much of a fight. Anahuac picked them for Homecoming for a reason. Talent is on the way to replace this senior and junior class's lack of talent. Still love my Bucs!

Not buying that . EC always beats us we are the under dog in my opinion

You just called your shot and already backing out? Typical Panther. You clearly have not been watching EC this year. HF game said enough, then struggle with HJ, Liberty and Kirbyville. Refs bailed them out vs Buna.

It was nice having Corbitt healthy and balancing out the offense. If everyone is healthy I have to lean AP hard.

With him back I don't like EC's odds, guy is a STUD. Couldn't stop 2 from Buna, won't stop Corbitt. EC D is still not very good.

First post I have ever seen speaking the truth about their home team. Refs were definitely a factor against Buna.  Not saying Buna would have won, but….!  I’m not from either place, but worst I have ever seen in my 35 years of watching HS football.

I would certainly think that Anahuac should win this game.... but..... I can't/won't bet against EC.  I pick Anahuac but reserve the right to say that I believed the whole time EC figures out how to win.

I expect it to be a good game. I don’t believe it will be a blowout whatsoever. AP needs to win this one for sure though. They are technically 3rd in district trailing EC so this is a huge game for both teams.

Anahuac is not as good as I thought they were earlier in the year. I don't follow it close so maybe injuries and such happened to them but right now I think Anahuac end up 3rd behind EC/OF (or OF/EC).

I’ll take AP by two scores, 34-20.  This is EC’s chance to show they’ve improved from early in the season when they got beat down by the only good opponent they’ve faced all year.  I think they have improved some, but not enough to get past Anahuac if Corbitt is healthy.

He is not retired, he still tries to throw his weight around here, and he is a huge, huge fan of Crosby and EC.
