What's amazing to me is just how many more Texas teams there are than any other state. Texas IS the football capitol of the world!

This list tells me something different, honestly. Seems like defense is harder to coach than it has ever been on every level.

The best high school defenses seem to be willing to use their best athletes. West Orange has historically done that and so has Newton. That's why they win 75-80% of the time. 

Offense sells tickets, but defense wins.

Yes sir Franklin came in at #7 at 911 points avg 57 points a game. The scary thing is that the starters sat out in the 2nd half 12 of the 16 games or it could have easily 1500 points scored. Same team also gave up 169 points total in 16 games 10.5 points a game

We could say that too about the offense in 2016. 811-69 in 16 games. Yea 69 dude

I am assuming these point totals are based on playing 16 games. These totals are just crazy. Aledo with 1023 points averaging over 62 points per game.

We played gunter who was also in the top 60 all time the same season and played state champ 3ad1 Lorena as well... I will take the 169.... about half was trash points 😂
