Verlander’s breaking ball is off the charts.  Good grief, I’d be twisted up like a pretzel trying to hit that thing (back in my heyday).  I’d go for the bunt, lmbo.

My wife said Verlander needs to pitch better that he did against the Mariners. I told her that’s the life of a pitcher. Some days your curve will hang or the ump’s strike zone is the size of a postage stamp. Either way, you’re getting hit.

Speaking of Umps, the one last night had a big zone.  Having spent time on the mound I’m all for a bigger zone, and his was.
