Man I will be out of town for this one and won’t even have time to watch on Texan Live!   I’m not counting PAM out and BH will have to come in an execute on both sides of the ball. Against KWP BH only had one turnover ( instead on 3 like most games) and had good blocking all around which opened up the ground and YAC. The receivers and QB connected like they have all year and the Defense played with swagger. If that BH team shows up in PAM  this will be a repeat of last night.

If you’re scared, go buy a dog. Longview is good, but they haven’t played anyone. Look at opponents records they played. Lancaster is the only team and they have two losses. If BH wasn’t going to win district, I’d say we’ll play them. We ain’t scared and your suppose to be a BH fan. Geez

I am not scared of anything. I don't know why you are interpreting it that way. I was just being courteous. I didn't want to jump and speak for someone else, I just wanted to add my view to what was being discussed.  That's how this works. You need to chill. And no need for lipping off about "buying a dog". Unnecessary.

BTW I gave them high praise in the other thread:

Huge win for BH. Absek clearly has the program pointed in the right direction. Great effort by the boys, they dug in and battled well in the trenches vs. a significantly larger opponent. Intensity was displayed on both sides of the ball.

BH still in building mode, lots of underclassmen already contributing. Celebrate the win then straight back to business Monday morning. Keep the foot on the gas! Well done Eagles!

Did you miss that?

They might now. Lol.

But in all seriousness, I just think BH is the better team. I don’t know what logic was behind PAM being rated so high in the state.

I feel the same way about preseason rankings sometimes, is what it is though. 🤷🏾‍♂️

Yeah if im BH im blitzing alot next week and see if we can pick it up better. Hopefully we use more screen passes to combat it.

I wouldn’t say we blitz a lot , but they are worked in strategically. Like CC said if y’all struggled with that then you will see more this week I’m sure of it.

We have the attacking defense to practice against for it, but practice isn't a live game though. 🤷🏾‍♂️ We'll see.

I think that's what this game will come down to: can Memorial offense be on point or can BH defense get Memorial offense off the field before damage happens.

I think.......

It was behind beating Pn-g and it was their worst home loss blah blah blah

I'm on record for not wanting PA to be ranked all year

PAM absolutely can win. PAM is 7-1 and beat a team BH lost to by 3TD's (yes I know there is another side to that coin). PAM is also going to be playing with a chip next week, and PAM plays BH in Port Arthur. PAM will have athletes all over the field. BH will have refocus quickly and play their very best next week v. PAM.

(and NO I don't need a dog.)

This is a good take because this is what BH did last night. You could tell if the defense didn’t get to KWP QB, he would do damage. BH defense is playing good team ball right now and everyone is doing their assignment.

Mon the offensive side, BH showed some new formations that I really liked. Impressed with coaches adjustments.

I have done nothing to you. What's your problem today? You are way off base and acting out of character. Its not a good look.

It originally was a joke buddy, just let it go. You’ve now brought it up in 3 posts which is a head scratcher. It’s hard to determine someone’s demeanor intent on a message board

Honest question and no direspect but have you ever really supported Memorial? Because in all of the years I’ve been on here its been constant negativity. Very little support and constant blaming. I dont think any of the coach’s have been good enough. And the team is never expected to win a big game when your predicting. I hope you go about life with a more positive attitude because with Memorial sports its always been pretty negative.

I support them. I drive nearly 2 hours EVERY Friday and make out of town games. Missed the LP game due to work and will miss the kwp game because it’s on a Thursday too. I been a fan since the merger. A LOT OF ALUMNI DIDNT WANT IT BUT I WAS FOR IT. Now, I brought this up years ago about golden triangle football how mediocre the area is. Just making the playoffs and going one or two rds is a good year?? Maybe for the kids, but these coaches getting fat and calling horrible games like last night and it’s ok??? More specific PAM four years in a row one and done with all the talent in the world. That’s not on the kids to a degree. It’s the adults. It’s like a sideline full of coach Klines from the waterboy. When people figure them out, they have nothing!! It’s never been me against the kids. It’s me against the adults. Coaches and fans ALIKE!

It’s not a bad team..at all.  They have great athletes on both sides of the ball, but I don’t care how good you are.  If your superiors lead you down the wrong path. You will fail.  Tonight..perfect example.  I just hope everyone as a team..players/coaches are ready for the final 2 games.  They have so much potential…I hate to see the season go to waste.

U wasting your time explaining logic to some PAM fans… bruh.

sounds like I’m being negative but I don’t sit in the stands or behind keyboards and phones with rose colored glasses on. Titans gonna back into the playoffs this year and out rd one, coach gonna say it’s his fault, the superintendent will smile and says it’s ok here’s more money, more fan boys from this site will complain behind closed doors but don’t have the guts to say it out loud what the problem is. Then repeat everything next year.

I ran outta likes but +1.

I was just talking to someone about this game and we both said watch we come out and play like world-beaters next week and everyone including ourselves will be scratching our heads wondering where that was the week before versus Lee.

Unless the Titans do something to stop the edge rush from disrupting every play, they are in trouble. I was in the press box last night at Stallworth, and if PAM would have run some RB slip screens in the middle of the field, or some 8-12 yard crossing/slants etc..over the middle of the field where Lee was vacating 70% of the time, this game wouldnt have even been close. The middle of the field was wide open all night. Even with the 5 turnovers, smart playcalling would have won that game. IMO

Y'all literally canceled a 2009 game against us after seeing us go to State in 2008 lol.

Who exactly have y'all played that's so amazing I'm wondering? Magnolia West of all teams? lol

Lancaster's no doubt the best team we've played. They have two losses sure, those two teams they've lost to are a combined 16-0.

Regardless, just keep winning and you'll see us in a little over a month so you can get your wish.

    • Either way,one game lead in the series. I rely to much on word of mouth
    • West Orange Stark has been a powerhouse since I csn remember. At some point, your bound to fall off to some degree. Alabama has 3 or 4 loses this season. Who would have thought? Has Orange lost kids to LCM or even Orangefield?
    • Interesting matchup this Friday. Both teams have very good offensive and defensive lines, which will make this game interesting. Having watched Texas High all season, they have a wide open offense with very good skill players. If you look at their stats they run the ball 57% of the time and pass 43% of the time. Personally, that is a bit deceiving, as most of their games have seen reserves running the ball in the 4th quarter. I would estimate the primary offense is 50/50. Through 12 games they have run for 3,224 yds (48tds) and passed for 2,894 yds (32 yds). Potter, the Tiger QB, has been very efficient with a 69% completion rate and 1 interception (which came from a tipped pass). The passing is distributed primarily to 4 receivers…. Ball (865), Wrightner (811), Montgomery (532), & Pilgreen (392). The rushing comes from 3 running backs … Johnson (1,432), Ball (768) & Moore (716).  The Tiger defense is solid and very quick.    Hope #15 is healthy enough to play. He is a test for any defense. I was concerned about the Nederland RB, but felt Texas High did a good job containing him. I wish this game was in the afternoon, as Nachitoches is having their Festival of Lights and their will not be any rooms in the inns and restaurants will be full so plan accordingly. PNG are state champions until someone knocks them off, so I extend the Indians the respect they deserve. Pulling for the Tigers.
    • The baseball coach has a ton of experience at high school and college level and hasn’t done anything for I think around 7 years now,it’s just something that the higher ups live with. And there has been talent come through that he hasn’t done anything with!
    • If I had to point out one team that has impressed me the most; Barbers Hill
