Cougtalk Posted October 25, 2022 Report Posted October 25, 2022 Crosby finally dominated a game... granted versus Sterling. Biggest game of the year for the Cougars if they win out they have a good shot at making the playoffs. Even tho we'd likely play a juggernaut playing a playoff game is always better than not playing a playoff game. BH taught us last year, there are plenty of paper tigers out there and anything can happen. Bud Kilmer 1 Quote
gary-us-bonds Posted October 25, 2022 Report Posted October 25, 2022 Crosby 48-21 Just going on my experience watching both teams play Lee. Quote
BHFAN Posted October 25, 2022 Report Posted October 25, 2022 Laporte lost a very important part of their offense when that RB went down. They don’t seem to have the depth to compete with Crosby, Coogs by 21 Quote

The way it looks now, the 4th seed would play Longview in Rd 1. They are undefeated, but Ball is undefeated too (Realignment beneficiary). Yep. another Rd 1 upset like BH can happen. Crosby has played a some tough opponents to get them ready for the playoffs. Quote
Separation Scientist Posted October 25, 2022 Report Posted October 25, 2022 LP without their RB means LP will struggle a lot. No way around it. Quote

You guys could have easily dropped 100 on them if fully healthy. Hell you came pretty close to it with injuries. Quote

Meh, they are bad but 62 in 3 quarter has only been equaled by Brazoswood who is going to make the playoffs as a 6A team. Quote
Bud Kilmer Posted October 27, 2022 Report Posted October 27, 2022 Cougs win this one by comfortable margin. question is if they make the playoffs, will 14.2 come back? Quote

Crosby stacking up on these transfers, that what they need. A combination of home grown talent and transfers will make them a contender. Bud Kilmer 1 Quote
BHFAN Posted October 27, 2022 Report Posted October 27, 2022 Transfers form these big schools to Crosby means one of 2 things IMO 1.) they can’t start for those teams or 2.) they are getting in to trouble and moving. Still might be a good player , but it’s not a given Bud Kilmer 1 Quote

Go-rilla Posted October 27, 2022 Report Posted October 27, 2022 In Junior High?? Wrong again!! I notice that none of yall get on here and speak of the "transfers" at other schools. The more yall talk the dumber you sound! Sorry, no not sorry!!!! Quote
Go-rilla Posted October 27, 2022 Report Posted October 27, 2022 BTW Dont kid yourself. BH,Dayton,Crosby, All 3 GCCISD, West Brook, United, Anahuac, and pretty much every other team in area would accept a 2nd teamer, or JV player from NS in a Heartbeat. Most of the mentioned programs dont have 1 kid that would start at NS! Quote
