Lionettes going strong

Lionettes are doing well. They had a victory over LCM with the score 42-38, i believe. They also beat Vidor by 14 points. Not too sure about the score itself. They play Orangefield tonight in Orangefield. Should be a good game. But one of the Lionettes starters went down with a concussion in the Vidor game. She took a charge and hit her head on the ground before her body hit. So, they will be playing without her. But, the team should do well. They have some great athletes and a great coach. ;D

the lionettes will not let the game get out of hand. and true they are missing a important piece of the lineup so it could wind up being a loss for Kountze. but im looking for the upset. a shorthanded KOUNTZE team over a pretty good orangefield team.

The game was a little sloppy in my opinion. The officating was not very good. One guy was Ok but the other did not have a clue and I am talking about both sides. The kids from Kountze played hard and never quit. They will do well in their district. The Orangefield girls did some good things offensively but slacked a little on the defensive side. The intensity on defense was not as sharp. I guess that happens sometimes But I hope not to often.
