Montgomery Bears @ Port Neches-Groves Indians/Game moved to Saturday, 1pm

Kinda of funny for two seasons in a row we play Galena Park then Montgomery back to back. Montgomery is 3-7. PN-G is 8-2. Game to be played at the Reservation Friday at 7 PM.

Montgomery not Montgomery LK Creek (big difference) Good team but not a powerhouse we rallied and scored 29 poinst to come from behind in the 4th to beat them this year. This should be a semi competitive game, but I see a big "W" easy enough for PNG.

Last year’s game was close, but this Montgomery team isn’t near as good this time around.  PNG wins 45-14.

The problem with a rainy game & wet ball is that it does not showcase your true talent.

It puts on display your weaknesses.  The only way to negate this is with your practice conditions.

Coach needs to have practice with the sprinklers on, all the time, to ensure we learn to handle the ball while it is stormy.

They've had plenty of experience playing in the rain, IMO, especially 2 weeks ago vs Nederland, when they had all the rain and stormy that they could use, to gain experience. Same with midday heat. If they all are healthy and focus on their jobs rain or shine, then they'll beat anybody, including FBM and PAM.

We're expecting little to light rain it's not going to be at all like ot was at mid county madness !!

Good thing PNG has that middle of the day playing experience now.  Plus, if a kid is ambitious, with this time change he'll have time to make a quick fishing trip or perhaps a duck hunt and be back in time to play football.

I was kidding about moving the game due to rain.  I didn’t think they would actually do it.
