No excuses from Madisonville.....we have played our best ball the past two weeks and hope that continues as we know who we face in the talented well coached Tigers.... but we feel like we have some talent too and can give them a run for it!  See ya Friday!

Now with that said Silsbee defensively is on par with Bellville. But offensively a good bit more versatile and of course there is Mr. Miller.

3 trips to state semis is as far as Silsbee has been in the playoffs.

In the recent past, Wimberley was as far as the Tigers have gotten.

Silsbee defense got lit up in that game. Them boys were scoring like crazy. They tried to make a comeback in that one, but it was too little too late.

Played Cuero in state semis the year before playing Wimberley.

Cuero as well. Silsbee did beat Pleseant Grove in a regular season game last year.

Yeah it was like 48-14 ,and then Silsbee went on a 30-0 run before we ran out of gas. We had the ball moving to try and get the lead but fumbled inside our own 20. Wimberley took 3 plays and scored. 55-44 was the final i believe. We lost to Cuero like 29-24. We missed every extra point we attempt or 2pt conversion. Had the ball in that game to go up and fumble then too.

Yeah, I think Cuero had one player who won them a state championship almost all by himself that year. Kid couldn't be stopped.

Well that dig Didn't take long to show up.

That's what happens when you face what will probably be the best football team in 4A EVERY playoff run.  They have ended some really good football seasons for us.

No excuses, just facts because it is our fault of course because we don't win our district very often.

No dig. Thought it was an interesting question. Considering the next 2 weeks games could be against those very same opponents.

Revenge is sweet. And a dish best served cold... in December. Nobody knows that more than Silsbee. Having knocked us out in 2 rematch in December.

Im pulling for all the teams that beat us. Theres 4 still left.

Year of the tiger and all that. So much so that the one who left... nevermind, I looked up those 2 words. Lol
