Funny to me how HJ can have 5 losses (and some wins) against qualify 6A squads and drop, but on the boys side Silsbee stayed top with something like a 4-8 record playing the same type of schedule

That's because the TABC rankings is basically done by one person for the girls and another person for the boys. TABC actually "sub contracts" the rankings to another entity.

A committee no longer does the rankings.

They're the real deal.  22-2 now, with a 4-point loss to Evadale who's 21-4, and a 1-point loss to FBCHA who's 23-3.
