KFDM COOP Posted November 17, 2007 Report Posted November 17, 2007 LC is loaded to bear! Predictions?
TradinUp BH Posted November 17, 2007 Report Posted November 17, 2007 This is going to be a tough one. If we can stop their running game hopefully we can pull this one out. I hear they are a great team, so just line up and bring it to them. Any idea where the game will be played?
ndn2016 Posted November 17, 2007 Report Posted November 17, 2007 local news said most likely baytown on Saturday... sorry didn't catch which channel
jake94 Posted November 17, 2007 Report Posted November 17, 2007 Lamar Consolidated by 14. I saw how much trouble PN-G had with the small, shifty LaMarque tailback. Now, granted that was the first game of the season, but Jaquizz Rodgers is SPECIAL. He impressed the hell out of me last season when we played them and I can only assume he has gotten better.

TradinUp BH Posted November 17, 2007 Report Posted November 17, 2007 Do they have anybody other than the QB? We shut down the GP QB
jake94 Posted November 17, 2007 Report Posted November 17, 2007 Is he more "special" than McGaffie? I mean that guy is amaizing!I was talking to a few buddies of mine while at the game and we agreed what a great athlete McGaffie was. I would love to see him run behind a great line and have some weapons to complement him. He would be a blast to watch. With that being said, I do not think that McGaffie is near as good as Rodgers and Rodgers has a great O-Line and plenty of other help. If you did not see him against Ned last year then you are in for a treat. He starts, and stops, jukes, and jives and always seems like he is going full speed. I have only seen him play one time, but I left extremely impressed.
NDNWarrior Posted November 17, 2007 Report Posted November 17, 2007 Seems like a lot of people were talking about McGaffie and how dominating he was.....PNG shut him down tonight....I mean, he had some quick moves and couple of runs, but overall, PNG was all over him. I heard from a friend that went to the LC/Dickinson game tonite and said the LC running back was the real deal, but felt PNG could shut him down, we would just need to go down and score quick. I know nothing about LC....anyone got info on them?
jake94 Posted November 17, 2007 Report Posted November 17, 2007 Do they have anybody other than the QB? We shut down the GP QBRodgers plays tailback. If I remember correctly the QB was a very small soph last season, but also ran the ball pretty good. They did not throw a whole lot, but had a solid defense.
TradinUp BH Posted November 17, 2007 Report Posted November 17, 2007 Do they pass the ball any? Put 8 men in the box and shut it down! Hopefully mistake free game next week and win the turnover game.
shermdog Posted November 17, 2007 Report Posted November 17, 2007 Sorry fellas, I have to go with my old HS district and not setx. LC

PNG1992 Posted November 17, 2007 Report Posted November 17, 2007 looks like if we can stop Rodgers, we'll have a shot.
WarPaint Posted November 17, 2007 Report Posted November 17, 2007 Think They would go for playing at the Reservation.......... :
TexAgNDN Posted November 17, 2007 Report Posted November 17, 2007 Here is my assessment, for what its worth. The two teams that Lamar Consolidated lost two this year ran the ball all over LC (College Park-300 yds rushing and Mayde Creek-175). In fact their Defense gave up an average of 208 yd/gm rushing, and that’s including pass happy Bay City’s stellar 46 yd rushing performance. Three teams rushed for 300 yds. Although LC is apparently loaded, from what I have read, I believe they are a good matchup for us. They obviously have trouble stopping the run. Our offense should be able to move the ball and score on them. With all that said, if the defense can stop this spectacular running back they have and force a turnover or two, I think we have a very realistic chance at winning this one. Time of possession will be huge, PN-G needs to run, run, run, pass, run, run and keep this LC back off the field as much as possible. When he is on the field KNOCK HIS BLOCK OFF. Gig'em INDIANS!!! Score Prediction: PN-G 31 LC 21 PN-G easily rushes for over 300 yds!
PNG1992 Posted November 17, 2007 Report Posted November 17, 2007 Gig'em INDIANS!!!could have done without that little nugget. but I agree with your prediction 110% ;D
NDN X Posted November 17, 2007 Report Posted November 17, 2007 could have done without that little nugget. but I agree with your prediction 110% ;D :o :D :D :D
C4L Posted November 17, 2007 Report Posted November 17, 2007 Is he more "special" than McGaffie? I mean that guy is amaizing!Bud, McGaffie couldn't carry Jacquizz's jock. This kid is going to make you think of Barry Sanders... He is that good.
KFDM COOP Posted November 17, 2007 Author Report Posted November 17, 2007 This could change but right now the game is Saturday 6PM in Baytown.

NewIndian Posted November 17, 2007 Report Posted November 17, 2007 Pretty good match id like to see their defensive stats, our "D" is gonna be what keeps us in this game, had some long sustained drives last night that rested our defense good.
