Saw where Yates lost a district opener to 

Houston Furr. 101 -63

is Yates down this year ? 
Or Furr that good ?

Jim Hicks recently tweeted that Furr is talented and being overlooked by a lot of people. He said they could possibly go to state from region 3.  Furr’s win over Yates fits with that statement.

Booker T is the new flavor of the month.  Eventually it will swing back to JY.  Maybe after next season.

Furr got a few move in kids to add to what they had last year. I could see Silsbee playing Yates 2nd round Furr 3rd and Booker T to advance to state.
