Guest Posted December 11, 2022 Report Posted December 11, 2022 Thoughts? Carthage has some bumps and bruises but who don't at this point in the season? Give me Dawgs +14 Quote

I don't think it matters... when Carthage makes it to state I've never seen a team more intimidating and better prepared than they are under Coach Surratt Reagan 1 Quote
Bansheefan Posted December 12, 2022 Report Posted December 12, 2022 Carthage should only have one that prolly will not be able to play they held out or gave very little playing time to a few last week to let them get closer to 100% for this game Mr. Buddy Garrity 1 Quote

He is a big time O line. He will run you over on running plays or pancake you on pass plays. He only played one series last week. He was limping pretty bad last week. You never know he may can go. Hatten (Oregon State) wide receiver did not play last week but was suited out and wanted to go in but was held out. Word is he will be ready to go for this week. Dowden only played the last two series and scored the tying and winning touchdowns, he will be good to go this week. you can bet your rear end you will not see the Dawgs turn the ball over 4 times this week. After last weeks performance, you will see a fired up and determined Dawg team take the field this week. Quote
Bansheefan Posted December 13, 2022 Report Posted December 13, 2022 Yeah he was only one I figured would not go he actually hurt it against pg Quote

Horton Posted December 17, 2022 Report Posted December 17, 2022 The best defense and offense in all of 4A took the field yesterday at AT&T. Both sides of the ball completely dominated that game. The defense for the 12 th time this year did not allow a single point at the half and 5 th shut out. The Dawgs started 6 sophomores and 1 freshman. The Dawgs return all four running backs, all but one O linemen, and two receivers. Coach Surratt’s son as a Freshmen threw 46 touchdowns in 9 games, moved up to varsity and threw two touchdowns in the first two playoff games with the starters. Dawgs will be set at QB for the next three years along with the phenomenal freshman running back KJ Edwards (just received his first offer from Texas Tech) on Friday. All three sophomore defensive linemen return along with sophomore 6ft 2in 220 lb linebacker. The Dawgs running backs Matlock, Dowden, and bechum could all start for any High School, they are big, strong, fast, and can catch passes. O line will be bigger, stronger, and quicker off the ball. Could be another great year coming for the Dawgs. Quote
