Didn't they play their semifinal game last week on a Thursday?

If so, they give the kids the day off on Friday, practice Saturday, (possibly Sunday) Monday and Tuesday. Travel to game Wednesday for game Thursday morning. (possibly could practice early Wednesday before travel)

Why only two practices?

Look, I am all for moving the state games around but saying you only get two practices doesn't hold water.

I would consider Balmorhea west texas they won state in 6-man two years ago

Theme so far at State has been the most physically dominant team throughout the game has won. We'll see if it continues.

Franklin is going to have to get more diversified on offense if they are going to score on Brock. Brock figuring out Franklin's run game.

I totally understand alternating your play calls from running in the tackles to stretching it outside but running in between the tackles hasn't been successful with Brock. They've been very successful stretching out the line of scrimmage though.
