El Campo just hired New Caney's HC, so NCISD is looking to make two hires, both for NC and the new NC West Fork HS.  

Incidentally, NC is likely to drop back into 5A, since West Fork will take some of their enrollment.

I was referring to you saying they were hiring a Head Coach for West Fork.   Unless he left, they already have Head Coach.  McDougle I belief ????

I just looked it up. Apparently McDougle is still their coach. Apologies for the confusion, it was half right, I just passed on what I heard.

New Caney HS named Mike DeWitt as their new coach today.  DeWitt previously was head coach at Coppell with a record of 54-35.

I agree, they probably had their guy in waiting from the staff already. From the statement that I read from Coach Koetting that the ISD put out it feels like this was coming and it wasn't some kind of surprise.
