What’s up with the sports at SA?  Both basketball and football has been uncharacteristically weak the last couple years. They always had athletes?

Small schools are prone to dry runs, happens to the best of em. One that stands out to me the most is Goodrich basketball, they had a stretch of runs to Austin in the late 90s early 00s and they've been awful in comparison the past 15 years.

San Augustine won state in football a few years ago and almost immediately got rid of the coach. I don’t think it’s lack of athletes 🤷‍♂️
