Guest Ricthepic
Congrats to the Panthers. I agree, Coach West will get that program turned aroud in a hurry. Hope Nederland can bounce back, playoff contenders in 22-4A, should not lose to a first year coached program. Wouldn't print those playoff tickets just yet. yodaddy
Didn't Barbers Hill pound Anahuac at Anahuac nonetheless the previous night by 27? Yet Nederland beat BH by 2 at Nederland. Told you not to jump on the Bulldog bandwagon so quick.
Guest WB42
Haters,Not taking anything away from players or coaches. Anahuac has an aggressive playing style and athletic team. They will be successful but neither they nor Nederland decided this game. It was a shame that the players didn't decide this one because both teams were playing hard and either team could have won. Nederland has no excuse though. They have to learn to find a way to win even in the most adverse conditions. I'm pulling for Nederland but the players have to step up and play up to their ability and not down to their opponents level. If they don't it's going to be a long season. They have a lot to prove. Good luck to Anahuac.
