ah22 Posted February 11, 2023 Report Posted February 11, 2023 Is the ghost shaping up to be Pete’s sidekick for a playoff run?? Quote

He, Sells, and Pete can all make cases so give it to the kid who won the most ballgames. All great players! Should be based off stats and coaches votes. when OF played EC number 15 was their man on the court! Not taking anything away from Perrault but he wasn’t the high scorer. A lot should be taken into consideration when picking district titles. There are many great players on all of these teams. TxHoops 1 Quote

Scored 23 in that game. Quote

Knox34 Posted February 11, 2023 Report Posted February 11, 2023 I like when bobcats win…. It’s the only time we can get Orangefield fans to participate in chats!! How about new comer of the year in that district ? I would love to see the ghost take that home!! CS. and footballproud 2 Quote
Mamba Posted February 14, 2023 Report Posted February 14, 2023 If Mr.Ragusa can remain “calm” & continue to lead his team like I know he can then Orangefield will make a deep run. He’s a cerebral player that understands the flow of the game can’t wait to see him go far !!!!!!! Bobcat1, footballproud and TxHoops 3 Quote
ah22 Posted February 14, 2023 Report Posted February 14, 2023 While I agree Pete is the man. Every Batman needs a Robin. Ghost is a lethal shooter and very cerebral player for just a freshman. If they can figure out how to work as a duo this team could do some damage. TxHoops and footballproud 2 Quote
UNT-AggieMan Posted February 14, 2023 Report Posted February 14, 2023 All 3 are deserving of that award i personally think it should come down to sells and pete they have both been remarkable all year long footballproud and TxHoops 2 Quote
Johnny Carson Posted February 14, 2023 Report Posted February 14, 2023 Offensively this district has a lot of good players but the only one that I have seen play both sides of the ball, night in and night out is Perrault. To me he is the MVP, Ragusa is offensive player of the year because what he just did to Kountze twice head to head, most recently scoring 40. Quote
Knox34 Posted February 14, 2023 Report Posted February 14, 2023 Hasn’t sells put up 40 several times. To me he screams offensive player of the year mfd814 1 Quote
Johnny Carson Posted February 14, 2023 Report Posted February 14, 2023 @Knox34 he did against Warren I believe and close on Buna. However, I think getting 40 against Warren is different than Ragusa's 40 against Kountze. footballproud 1 Quote
AggiesAreWe Posted February 14, 2023 Author Report Posted February 14, 2023 Perrault would be my district MVP. gogo173489 and Johnny Carson 2 Quote
Knox34 Posted February 14, 2023 Report Posted February 14, 2023 Come on Aggies. Give us offensive defensive and new comer. Quote
LoydW Posted February 14, 2023 Report Posted February 14, 2023 Might be co district mvp’s just like in football this year. Quote
oldschool2 Posted February 14, 2023 Report Posted February 14, 2023 Wouldn't it be fun if Orangefield lost tonight.. and Kountze lost... Wouldn't that force two seeding games? By the way.. EC's ace should get MVP. Disclaimer: I HATE when they do "co-superlative" Quote

Hard for me to do that since I haven't seen Hardin play this season. But, here would be my selections: MVP - Perrault Offense - Ragusa Defense - Green Newcomer - Scales COY - Sutherland Quote

Knox34 Posted February 14, 2023 Report Posted February 14, 2023 Would love to hear a good argument for sells over Ragusa or Perrault ! Just any valid point and I’ll be happy. Who is shores ? Quote

Knox34 Posted February 14, 2023 Report Posted February 14, 2023 Sells for mvp is a really tough argument. He’s on a 16-15 team grasping to get the 4th seed. Perrault has a 30-4 team ranked 12th in state. Ragusa is on the second best team and just mopped the floor with kountze I think sells might have to settle for first team all district. Quote

I don't see him as the top defensive player. I don't do co-anything. I believe Perrault is the MVP. I think Ragusa is Offensive Player of Year. Do I need to create a place for Sells? Soph. of the Year? Best Lion? This is what happens when there are three very good players and only two superlative positions available. Knox34 1 Quote
AggiesAreWe Posted February 14, 2023 Author Report Posted February 14, 2023 And when it's close, go with results. Perrault is 3-1 vs. Orangefield and Kountze. Regusa is 2-2 vs. EC and Kountze Sells is 1-3 vs. EC and Orangefield District champ is Perrault's team 2nd looks to be Ragusa's team Fighting for a play off spot is Sell's team. Do the math (oh, and I am just living up to a few of the Kountze fans theory on me being a Kountze hater) 🙄 Quote
