Flying Object size of car shot down around Alaska @ 40,000 ft

Announced during WH Press Conference. 

Did not appear to have maneuverability

The high-altitude object, Kirby said, was flying at an altitude of 40,000 feet and “posed a reasonable threat to the safety of civilian flight.”

This actually happened a few times while I was stationed in Anchorage.
