Yes they did, finally got some good pitching Hopefully that will continue Glad to see Verlander back. Will have a great chance if they start hitting with RISP. We will see how they perform on this road trip vs the Yankees and Orioles. Hopefully like they did against Cleveland

And the defending WS Champs split the series with the Yanks. Jake Myers had a career high 6 RBI game slugging 2 3-run homers. The best player in baseball had a 2 run shot. Astros walked in half the Yanks runs. Wild Thing with his 1st appearance and win as a reliever.

Valdez didn’t have the outing he had last game, but he settled down and kept it manageable. Great comeback win by the champs against a top ranked team in their house.

Tough loss for Hunter 5-4.  Had bases loaded for new guy Singleton.  In the 9th.

Took series from number 1

Astros take the series from the top ranked Orioles in their place. That was a real close one today. Stros will be ok.

Astros have not looked good the last 2 games. Should have been a 2-1 loss, but Baker left Valdez in too long. Appears that they will be a wildcard this year

Wait, you said they would miss playoffs all together.

You also said after Cleveland, New York and Baltimore series they would be 6th seed. Stros went 7-3 in that 10 game span and was actually closer to the #2 seed than they were the #6 seed.

I guess it's easy to just "spout off" without really knowing what you are talking about.
