What can I say about Alvarez? 2 run shot puts the Astros ahead 2-0. Bichette with a solo shot makes it 2-1 Astros.

Best LH hitter in the game right. now. But once again that was it.

BJs 3-2

I have no good answer except that players slump, teams slump, teams get up for the Astros because they are the defending WS Champs (that’s my favorite), but all all, it’s baseball. I certainly don’t expect my team to win every game. Astros are in good shape in the standings. Still lots of baseball to be played.

I agree. Although I see a trend developing when you praise them too early. Lol

I hear ya. I’m not superstitious but I’ll try and watch it. If pitching gives up only 2 runs, they did their job. Run support is a problem for all pitchers (Nolan Ryan comes to mind).

That’s the kind of game I am used to from my Astros. Come from behind to tie, take a 3 run lead late, make it close at the end, then shut her down. Just think if we had our injured starting pitchers and ALVAREZ!

I’m very impressed with our substitute starters keeping the Rangers from scoring 10 plus runs. Abreu had some trouble throwing strikes and when he did, the Rangers generated 2 runs late. He got control and got out of it.

Astros blow an 8 run lead and fall behind only to score 2 in the 9th to take the win 12-11. WOW

I really don’t like building big leads early. It seems to always work the way it did today. Clutch hitting in the top of the 9th was amazing.

In Jose Altuve's absence, Corey Julks filled in at the two-spot and delivered four hits and an RBI vs. Colorado.

FINAL: HOU 4, COL 1

Stay 3 GB of rangers

Currently tied with NYY for 2nd wild card

Our subs could start for lots of other teams and that could become a problem.
