You didn't get the results you wanted tonight but look at the body of work BU has over these past 3 years. It's nothing to be ashamed of.

Wasn't blown away by LH. United just played sloppy.

Fantastic season for United!  That’s an incredible achievement to move up to 6A and make it to the state championship.  Hard to not feel like BU had a real chance to win this one.  Their execution and shooting in the 2nd half killed them.  That said, LH got away with at least three goaltends, and I can’t ever remember a game where every single close block/charge call went the way of one team, but it was that way tonight, on close to ten calls.

Dude, they said that he didn’t look like a 5a star after seeing him vs DeSoto.  No one said he wasn’t good.  🙄🙄

Again you gotta understand basketball…how you want a kid to look like a 5 star when you’re getting denied and doubled all game? Easy to say if you’re just watching the box score.

For me, Johnson is the best player I’ve seen in Texas HSBB right now and that includes Ron Holland (top ranked 2023 kid in the state).  For those who aren’t convinced, maybe you will be during his NBA career.

If I was a coach, I’d double the 5 star player. Makes sense. Never allow the opponent’s best player to beat you. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. You still have to make the effort.

Nothing is wrong with it at all it was actually a GREAT GAME-PLAN! My issue was with the people who have setx bias when watching the kid play & not using common sense.

He’s the best player in the state of Texas & it isn’t close! I’ve been saying it all year the kid has a PRO SKILL SET!

I’ve never met coach Green, but really enjoyed watching his post game interview.  It’s obvious how much he cares for his players.
