And Chicago will still be a 💩hole.  The people of Chicago do not want change.  Keep voting far left Dimocrats.  You would have thought there was a lesson to be learned after Lightfoot.  Evidently, there are a lot of low info voters in Chicago.  Don’t gripe because your city is a cesspool.  This is what you want!!

Since when do mayors have any control over school districts?
Chicagoans……jumped from the fire into the frying pan.

Stupid Democrats!!  What do they expect?  Keep electing them and it will not get better!

OMG! What if it works?

The crime has already occurred, how will that help the crime rate?

No reason to think it will work, liberal policies have a longstanding history of not working, just look at Chicago.

Feigned good intentions are much more important than results to liberal politicians.

Just give us more money so we can fix the problem that our previous policies created.

I can’t imagine someone breaking in my house, I call the cops, and I jump for joy when I see two women with clipboards arrive on the scene. That’ll show him.

I think they were previously referred to as violence interrupters.

What a joke.

Can you see violence interrupters talking the bank mass murderer into giving up? He exchanged fire with police and would have gunned the social workers down too. You’re right, what a joke.

The Mayor of Orange could do nothing in front of our school board last year.

It depends on the state. In Texas a school district is a separate and autonomous government entity. In some states the city likely controls the schools within the city.

To say that it doesn’t happen here might have nothing to do with New York City, Oakland, CA, etc.
