fwcoa Posted November 19, 2007 Report Posted November 19, 2007 I must appologize to the Lumberton, Dayton, PNG district for saying you guys would go 0-3.....Congratulations to all of you and I hope you are as successful this round as you were in the last.....
tvc184 Posted November 19, 2007 Report Posted November 19, 2007 ....and not only did they not go 0-3, they pretty much made the first round of the playoffs look like a preseason game against powderpuffs.
shorttexas1 Posted November 19, 2007 Report Posted November 19, 2007 I thought it was a ridiculous prediction anyway.. It had no historical back-up. What makes anyone think that that district is better than 22-4A. Now that Dayton has moved to this district, sorry there is absolutely no chance!
knightrider Posted November 19, 2007 Report Posted November 19, 2007 won't be long when 22-4a is going to be a powerhouse district. almost there now but give it a couple more years. ;D
NDNWarrior Posted November 19, 2007 Report Posted November 19, 2007 won't be long when 22-4a is going to be a powerhouse district. almost there now but give it a couple more years. ;DAgree!
setxguru Posted November 20, 2007 Report Posted November 20, 2007 I cannot ever remember anytime where our SETX 4AAAA district has been swept, and don't look for it to happen anytime soon.
football04 Posted November 20, 2007 Report Posted November 20, 2007 2004. Kilgore over PNG, Jacksonville over Nederland , Marshall over Ozen
setxguru Posted November 20, 2007 Report Posted November 20, 2007 Good post fbl04, but that was the second round. I don't think this district has ever been swept in the first round. My fault for not being clear.
football04 Posted November 20, 2007 Report Posted November 20, 2007 I was wondering if you meant 1st round. If 22-4A can pull out some wins this round they can make it to semi's or state, this is a tough round with 6 very good football teams.
AtascocitaLobo Posted November 20, 2007 Report Posted November 20, 2007 That district that swept 2004 was my old district when I was in High School. That was a fluke year and I doubt anyone in that east Texas district could hold their own with any of these teams now
