This is yet another example

I remember one Saturday when I was working for Diamond Ambulance service, we had 2 shootings, a fatal car accident AND a stabbing within a couple hours. It was an eventful night.  I remember that day because we left St. Mary's with Verne driving and I was trying to clean the back of the ambulance. He hit the railroad track crossing at about 50mph (felt like 80) and I flew up and hit my head on the ceiling and then my butt hit the bench seat.  I had neck and back pain for 2 weeks.

The Father is a Houston attorney.....and he turns himself in.....

Very strange,

and the kid was special needs, and they'd traveled there together.  would be a little more believable if he accidentally shot a kid who was home unexpectedly from college or something.

Right....I don't get it. I could honestly see someone panicking and doing something stupid without thinking it through - but stupid does not include loading your kid in a frontend loader and burning him on already stacked up wood pile.....geezzzz people are nuts

beaumont made it a whole 19 hours into 2025 before their first murder

What’s that, three in a little over a week?

It is not a record but geez.

 But they can happen anywhere……

It amazes me how people make excuses for their communities instead of putting their foot down and demanding change.

Orange

Like all such cases, the Facebook comments are entertaining.

I like the comments (so many) where people are demanding answers, we need to be made aware of the circumstances, the police won’t tell us why, this needs to be looked into further, they haven’t said why so something is being covered up, there’s more to the story, etc.

No, you don’t need to know what happened.

The police probably aren’t going to tell you why and if they do eventually after an arrest, they aren’t likely to give details. It’s on a need to know basis and you don’t need to know.

There is always more to the story because neither the police nor the DA typically release such information. The police and DA nightmare is when a justice of the peace releases the information which is legal but can sometimes hamper the investigation.
