Tailgating prior to the Oral Roberts game Saturday at the Montagne Center

The athletic department is putting on a tailgate parting prior to Saturday nights game versus Oral Roberts. So come out early and tailgate with the Cardinal Club and other Lamar University fans.  94.1FM is sponsoring a tailgate which will begin about 3:00 PM.  Links and Boudain will be provided by Big Rich Corville but there will be plenty of space on the grill if you wish to bring your own food. 

The Lady Cards play Wiley College at 4:00 PM,  so you can get a full afternoon of good food, Lamar basketball and some great Lamar sports talk.  Weslinder will be running the grill and I'm sure he'll do a great job and he'll probably enlighten you with his knowledge of Lamar University and the athletic programs. I'm working Saturday night 11p-7a and will be able to make the game but not the tailgate party. I do encourage all Lamar supporters who can to make it out there. It will be a load of fun!

Update from Assistant AD Brad McGowan:

There is now a 90 percent chance of rain. We are cancelling the tailgate for this game, but will look at rescheduling for dec. 8. Sorry for cancelling but there were too many pieces to wait until the last minute.
