^Gusher Fan^ Posted November 20, 2007 Report Posted November 20, 2007 ATTENTION RAIDER NATION:Last week was great so let’s keep up the steam.......... We would like to send the Raiders off to La Marque with an L-TRAIN Lane. The bus is scheduled to leave the field house at 3:30 p.m. Friday afternoon. It would be great if we can paint our cars and trucks, faces or whatever else you want and lets form a human L-TRAIN Lane using our vehicles and bodies side by side to form a lane all the way from the field house to the intersection of Hwy 69 to show support for the players as they depart. You can stand beside your vehicles, make as much noise as you can and then join in the convoy to Stallworth Stadium in Baytown. Upon reaching the stadium, we propose that you all circle or park close enough to the bus to make some more noise as the MIGHTY RAIDERS depart the bus for the field house, then you can park regularly and enjoy the tailgate party that is tentatively planned to start around 3 p.m. (Tailgater organizers are leaving town early). In addition, thanks to the Lumberton Fire/EMS Department, we are hoping to escort the players back to Raider Stadium student parking lot with red lights and sirens to let the community know we are coming home. Last Friday around Mid-night, we did the same and it was awesome. Let’s keep the L-TRAIN running FULL STEAM AHEAD all the way to STATE!!! Mike Minton, Secretary, Lumberton Raider Athletic Booster Club, (LRABC)755-6429Andi Smith, Treasurer, LRABC656-2990 All responses welcome.........
BMTSoulja1 Posted November 20, 2007 Report Posted November 20, 2007 For a second round playoff game? I understand region III championship or higher. I think just packing Stallworth and rocking the house with noise will be sufficient.
83_Alumni Posted November 20, 2007 Report Posted November 20, 2007 For a second round playoff game? I understand region III championship or higher. I think just packing Stallworth and rocking the house with noise will be sufficient. You just don't understand, they go all out when they are winning. They do pretty much the same thing for the Pee Wee football teams. It's great that they can get the community support.
Raider88 Posted November 20, 2007 Report Posted November 20, 2007 Hey SOULJA we don't mess around in Raidernation!! I am sure each week will get BIGGER and BIGGER!! If anyone is interested in jumping on the L-Train feel free to PM me I am sure I can accomadate a few passengers.
BMTSoulja1 Posted November 20, 2007 Report Posted November 20, 2007 Seeing all this, Raider fans may explode if they win a couple more games! ;D ;D ;D
AtascocitaLobo Posted November 20, 2007 Report Posted November 20, 2007 This is uncharted waters for Lumberton so I can TOTALLY understand your excitement and I hope you guys demolish La Marque. I know a bunch of Dayton fans would love a rematch later in the playoffs so lets see if we can make this happen!
Guest tigersvoice Posted November 20, 2007 Report Posted November 20, 2007 I'm leaving early. I forgot to turn out the lights last week. I can't handle that pressure!
Guest maverick24 Posted November 20, 2007 Report Posted November 20, 2007 Tailgate party leaving at about 2 from what I hear around town.
DoubleG66 Posted November 20, 2007 Report Posted November 20, 2007 Seeing all this, Raider fans may explode if they win a couple more games! ;D ;D ;D I think its great to see this kind of support! I was shocked looking across the field last friday night at the Smiley stands. There were less people in those stands than at any game Lumberton hosted all season...alot less...like,''Somebody forgot to tell somebody their team was playing", less. This crowd thats riding the L-Train has been amazing and should be comended. The most impressed I've been with the fans was at the PNG game. The L-Train came up seven cars short of winning...and still got a standing O from the fans...thats class guys. So if you see a blue and red cloud blowing in from Baytown Fridaynight...dont panic! just know you were right...we exploded!
raiders4 Posted November 20, 2007 Report Posted November 20, 2007 We are so excitied we just can't hide it!!!
EAGLE07 Posted November 20, 2007 Report Posted November 20, 2007 Man that's good stuff...that's what high school football should be about...with the community support and all. You guys should be fired up ! Best of luck to RAIDERNATION from Barbers Hill.

^Gusher Fan^ Posted November 21, 2007 Author Report Posted November 21, 2007 I'm leaving early. I forgot to turn out the lights last week. I can't handle that pressure! Ah hah!! ... Now we know where to send the bill!!! ;DSeriously folks, we've waited a lonnnnng time for this. Us parents are proud of our kids and we want the whole world to know it. Someone mentioned that it will just get bigger each week, and that is correct! The SKY is the limit!
