L-TRAIN departing FRIDAY from RAIDER NATION

ATTENTION RAIDER NATION:

Last week was great so let’s keep up the steam..........

We would like to send the Raiders off to La Marque with an L-TRAIN Lane. The bus is scheduled to leave the field house at 3:30 p.m. Friday afternoon. It would be great if we can paint our cars and trucks, faces or whatever else you want and lets form a human L-TRAIN Lane using our vehicles and bodies side by side to form a lane all the way from the field house to the intersection of Hwy 69 to show support for the players as they depart.

You can stand beside your vehicles, make as much noise as you can and then join in the convoy to Stallworth Stadium in Baytown. Upon reaching the stadium, we propose that you all circle or park close enough to the bus to make some more noise as the MIGHTY RAIDERS depart the bus for the field house, then you can park regularly and enjoy the tailgate party that is tentatively planned to start around 3 p.m. (Tailgater organizers are leaving town early).

In addition, thanks to the Lumberton Fire/EMS Department, we are hoping to escort the players back to Raider Stadium student parking lot with red lights and sirens to let the community know we are coming home. Last Friday around Mid-night, we did the same and it was awesome. Let’s keep the L-TRAIN running FULL STEAM AHEAD all the way to STATE!!!

All responses welcome.........

For a second round playoff game?  I understand region III championship or higher.  I think just packing Stallworth and rocking the house with noise will be sufficient.

You just don't understand, they go all out when they are winning. They do pretty much the same thing for the Pee Wee football teams. It's great that they can get the community support.

Seeing all this, Raider fans may explode if they win a couple more games! ;D ;D ;D

I think its great to see this kind of support! I was shocked looking across the field last friday night at the Smiley stands. There were less people in those stands than at any game Lumberton hosted all season...alot less...like,''Somebody forgot to tell somebody their team was playing", less. This crowd thats riding the L-Train has been amazing and should be comended. The most impressed I've been with the fans was at the PNG game. The L-Train came up seven cars short of winning...and still got a standing O from the fans...thats class guys. So if you see a blue and red cloud blowing in from Baytown Fridaynight...dont panic! just know you were right...we exploded!

I'm leaving early.  I forgot to turn out the lights last week.  I can't handle that pressure!  :o

Ah hah!! ... Now we know where to send the bill!!!  ;D

Seriously folks, we've waited a lonnnnng time for this. Us parents are proud of our kids and we want the whole world to know it. Someone mentioned that it will just get bigger each week, and that is correct! The SKY is the limit!

From 1 Raider fan, MAJOR Thanks to the Barbers Hill I.S.D., it was a beautiful facility, and the representatives at the stadium were very upstanding and professional (including the students).

BHISD should be very proud of what they have............

DITTO! It was a wonderful experience, all the way around!
