KFDM COOP Posted November 21, 2007 Author Report Posted November 21, 2007 42-27 HJ leads at the Half.
24 over par Posted November 21, 2007 Report Posted November 21, 2007 congrats hj looking good already
Lazeek Posted November 21, 2007 Report Posted November 21, 2007 Really a ugly game.......HJ looked rusty and so did the refs!!!!! I feel like Huntington played a decent game from what I saw. Calls both ways were horrible!!!! This is the first time I have seen HJ this year and they definately do not have the go to guy like Donahoe from last year, but they will run at you at least 10 deep. More athletic and agressive than any other HJ team in the past. I look for them to do just fine and compete for another district title!!! BTW, Sunshine you need to shoot the ball more!!!!!! Quit looking to pass and use your moves down low!!!! I like the baby hook!!!!
baller001 Posted November 21, 2007 Report Posted November 21, 2007 HJ did not play well shouldve won by atleast 40 but they had been off for a week so when te season picks up they should be just fine
TopDawG52 Posted November 21, 2007 Report Posted November 21, 2007 Its going to hurt them come District playing these Weak opponents.
Lazeek Posted November 21, 2007 Report Posted November 21, 2007 Its going to hurt them come District playing these Weak opponents.Last time I checked the schedule they are playing in the Huntington tourney and it has several ranked teams...Krum, Hempstead, etc.Chapel Hill the #1 in AAA is playing in the HJ tourney in a few weeks.....They will be fine, as well Kountze!!! Just love seeing you people from Kountze get all bent out of shape!!!!!
PoppaBearstarr Posted November 21, 2007 Report Posted November 21, 2007 I was very impressed with Huntington, they play pretty good they didn't miss too many shots.
setxslam Posted November 21, 2007 Report Posted November 21, 2007 I agree Poppa: Huntington was a pretty tall, good-shooting, fundamentally sound team. They played hard on D.That being said, the refs seemed dedicated to destroying us.
PoppaBearstarr Posted November 21, 2007 Report Posted November 21, 2007 No doubt "the refs" didn't do a great job, not much consistency, but it is early in the season I'm sure they will get into it. Even the hawks looked a little rusty.
Guest nostradamus Posted November 21, 2007 Report Posted November 21, 2007 Its going to hurt them come District playing these Weak opponents.HJ is playing the same "weak" schedule that lead them to a miserable 38-4 AAA State Championship last year. :
Guest stevenash Posted November 21, 2007 Report Posted November 21, 2007 Topdawg, since you know so much about the schedules, what other teams from that district have played a killer schedule to this point?
baller001 Posted November 21, 2007 Report Posted November 21, 2007 yeah we all know how starting the year off with milburn treated last year id hte for hj to repeat what they did last year and win another state championship that would be just soo awful think before you speak topdawg
setxslam Posted November 21, 2007 Report Posted November 21, 2007 Hey, we beat Milburn by 2 more points than Ozen did!
