From my understanding currently only Woodridge Forest Middle school feeds into West Fork. However that's completely based off of conversations with friends of ours that live there.

Based on that, it looks like West Fork may start out as a 4AD1 and jump to 5AD2 next round when they have a full school.

Never said Tarkington would be over 600 kids. Shepherd is the one that will be over 600. If the cut off went to 570 that would likely save Tarkington. My initial projections were based upon existing cut off numbers.

My apologies, I took the statement wrong then. Either way, unless we get an influx of people and in particular high school kids then it will be tight either way. We may be one of those borderline schools that help determine where the line is drawn to keep classes properly distributed.

Quite possible. I hope they get to stay in 3AD1 given all of the turnover lately. Would be a tall order for the new regime to have to deal with 4AD2 out of the gate in current circumstances.

The only positive regarding the recent turnover is the kids got a face that's been in house for a few years now and I don't think he's going anywhere. That will help provide stability for the kids. Might see some familiar faces pop back up in the coordinator positions as well. In reality, it will always be tough for us to compete in football no matter what class or district we are in. Basketball and baseball will stay competitive for next few years either way.

You never know. If Tarkington were to get some momentum, the destiny can change. It will take a little time and a strategic plan. Hopefully the community will support the new coach and give him the time and flexibility to implement his plan.

That would keep them in the same district. Their enrollment 8-11 is 441,

Correct.   Liberty current enrollment is 683, not sure what we have in grades 8-11.

Someone told me the average limit range percentage by year that was close. I wished I remembered it lol..

Only chatter I know of is orangefield going back by many including thr AD himself......

some say lumberton hitting 5A but when you factor the historical average growth limit  it lands short.

Lumberton does not appear to be close to moving up unless they lower the cut.

Orangefield will not be moving up. They currently have 529 in HS. The 8th grade class is a descent size class but will not push them over the top to get them into 4A DII. My source says they may get to 550 but that will still be short of 4A DII.

Showing OF at 586 8-11 and 618 7-10. I think it is possible they go up.

Yeah they talked about a massive 8th grade class. But Livingston blows them out of the water in that aspect so hard to put weight on it.

I went through the whole district. Splendora looks certain to move up but the rest look safe. I think the next closest one for moving up was Vidor.
