Best concession stand & foods.

Football season is right around the corner. Who has the best concession stand? What is the best item?

A good friend of mine from Barbers Hill was just talking to me about the HF concession stand last week. Wait, was it HF, or HJ? Regardless, I live in the HF school district, and pay HF school tax. A couple-or-so years ago a new concession stand was approved by voters, I think it passed by 5 votes, at a cost of $1.5 million. I think my wife and I voted for it, but I recall wondering aloud, "geez, a 1.5 million dollar concession stand?  The food better be good."

HF always has had great food! Kountze used to do some great BBQ years ago! Not sure if they still do or not…

I haven't had any concession food in over 15 years. But I have had some great pressbox food in that span.

I could definitely rate stadium pressbox food for sure. lol

HF concession stand been good going back to when I was in HS late 90s early 2000s. 

 

I wonder if Jasper still has those fall off the bone turkey legs though.....

I have to say that WOS concessions are bottom tier. Nothing special at all. There's probably a better selection at a snow cone truck in BC. But the food truck outside the stadium is amazing. I can't find the clip of Saphire Cervantes sampling the food last season. 

Heard they may try a new menu item this year 🦃🍔

Not in the immediate area, but, Pearland pressbox is great!!! Pearland and Dawson had different foods. one was spring creek bbq and one was papdeauxs seafood.

Most of us could. If and when they expand the visitor seating. $2 for water should be a law. I wish I could remember how much bottle water was at over here. I'm thinking $5

My understanding is the long-term plan is to turn the visitor side into the home stands. That way the visitors are baking in the sun lol.

 

Totally agree on the water. A small markup on an essential item is reasonable but not five bucks.

Never eaten anything, but everything that they have in Kirbyville smells amazing. Their announcer does a good job of promoting it too
