Guest abovetherim Posted November 22, 2007 Report Posted November 22, 2007 Check out the voting by the Enterprise readers. The students and the community (alumni, fan's and supporters) are voting in favor of supporting a return of football at above 80%. There have been over 300 voters so far. At the end of the day, the current students will say yes or no. But, if I'm taking 16 credit hrs which is a heavy load my athletic fee at $8.75 would be $140 dollars. I'll gladly pay that when I return to school in the spring and I'll up my pledge to the Cardinal Club from $1,200 to $2,000. For me, the return of football at Lamar isn't a difficult choice. I'm 110% behind the SGA and the administration. I called the athletic development office to tell them of my desire to increase my pledge but they were already gone for the holiday. I'm sure they will read it on here.
TheSportsDoctor Posted November 23, 2007 Report Posted November 23, 2007 Read the article and voted this morning. There are now over 500 votes which are cast and the vast majority say they support the return of the sport to Lamar.
