@NDNation what atmosphere? 😂There was plenty of seating on yalls side last game, our stadium capacity is only a few ppl below 12.3K with equal numbers on both sides.

 

And Ned don't travel like that anymore unless it's MCM, when they start winning consistently again their fans will start packing out venues again.

You giving Desoto credit for winning state in D2 when they’re normally a team that plays in the Division 1 bracket? If Atascocita moved down to D2 you’d have two teams from 21-6A winning state titles…go do your homework on how Desoto has faired when playing in the D1 bracket…

We bring more fans than any other team to the table. It was 100 + degrees, and with online viewing, we still made a good showing.

6A needs a split, wasn't too long ago Katy played CH in D2 title game, Katy was bigger than both D1 participants which were SLC and Westlake. 🤦🏾‍♂️

Atascocita usually loses to NS (the same team that has beat DV in 3 out of 4 state championships)…the competition in D2 is much weaker than D1 (ask Katy) Desoto has only played D2 twice in recent years & both times they won state you think that’s a coincidence? So like I said if you’re basing your argument on both those two teams winning state if Atascocita went down to D2 they’d hoist a state trophy as well. 11-6A don’t have 4 teams better than NS, Cita, CE King or SC…but again I’m talking to guys who really don’t have a clue.

And please stop posting student population as if that matters if that’s the case Allen, Skyline & Conroe would be power house football teams. Facts are Desoto benefited from Cedar Hill having a bad year (one of the two teams who normally goes D2 in that district) and they took advantage.

I know they need to split as well as go ahead and add that 7A…. 

Didn’t a few years ago shadow creek have more students than the 6A D2 schools or something like that?

Again student population means nothing here’s an example:

In 2021(Covid season) Westlake beat us (North Shore) in the 5th round & we had double the student enrollment as them.

The following year they went on to destroy Katy who has almost 700 more students. Y’all be saying stuff don’t even make sense smh

United had 2230.5 enrollment last alignment and cutoff was 2224. They barely slipped into 6A. Huge difference between them and probably 80% of their district in enrollment and athletes. They’re doing fine on non district schedule. I have a feeling they’ll have a chance to go 5A D1 after this year it’ll be a mute point on non district scheduling. Some things are out of their control like travel budget.
