Reagan Posted August 27, 2023 Report Posted August 27, 2023 From the article: "Here we go again— the JoeBama Administration has plans to roll out a new COVID-19 vaccine this fall, requiring Americans to get another jab. Despite declaring earlier this year that COVID is no longer a threat, President Joe Biden said his administration will "likely" recommend that all Americans receive the updated booster, including children." So -- which is it? A threat or not?! Oh, wait, I forgot -- it's the Election Variant!! This is the hidden content, please Sign In or Sign Up Quote
bullets13 Posted August 27, 2023 Report Posted August 27, 2023 There’s nothing in that article suggesting he will mandate a vaccine. Quote

baddog Posted August 27, 2023 Report Posted August 27, 2023 It’s not about the shot, per se, it’s a prelude to mail-in ballots due to a renewed pandemic. Nothing to raise an eyebrow about it occurring four years apart. Simply a coincidence. Anything else is a conspiracy theory. tvc184, LumRaiderFan and Reagan 3 Quote

The Supreme Court has already shut that down the last time. He can mandate government workers and certain positions that depend on health care funding like hospitals with Medicare and Medicaid. They denied OSHA ordering vaccines for companies that have over 100employees saying it overstepped their authority. Also at least 4 other Supreme Court rules have said that vaccine mandates and quarantines are state policing (Tenth Amendment) issues and not within the authority of the federal government. Quote

Just give them time, they’ll get there. Sure, they couldn’t mandate companies yet but they set guidelines that many companies put in place that actually cost employees money if they weren’t vaccinated and they had to follow different protocols while in the workplace. It wasn’t a mandate, per se, but it was awfully close. Without any doubt, they certainly haven’t given up getting there. One day they’ll have the right SC to get it done. Quote

tvc184 Posted September 3, 2023 Report Posted September 3, 2023 It won’t matter much about federal mandates which will have to be fought in court but Texas enacted a new law that for the most part prohibits mask, closing businesses and vaccine mandates from government entities Texas such as county commissioners court, city councils and I believe school districts.
