I made a post on facebook a few weeks ago essentially saying that I never dreamed I'd have a day in my life where it was 99 degrees outside with a little wind and a few clouds and I'd be thinking to myself how good it felt.

Heck I've never been as hot as it was this last month so many days in a row.  I don't think 2011 was as hot as it has been this year.  Maybe I am just a wimp now.

These guys laying asphalt in the 107 degrees on US59 I just don't know.

I remember as a kid (60s) it was 107* and the neighbors down the street were frying eggs on the driveway. It was hot a few days like that, but it went back to the 90s where it belonged.

Linda Ronstadt sang about a heat wave, but I think that was a totally different concept. Lol
