spidersal Posted September 15 Report Posted September 15 I think is is safe to say that the Cowboys have the worst secondary in the NFL. They raved about # 21 last week. He is not good at all. # 7 is probably the most overrated DB I have seen in the NFL. The entire defense is poor. Offensively they do not have much of a running game. 9-8 season possibly! Quote
spidersal Posted September 15 Report Posted September 15 Jones pays all this money to Prescott, Lamb, and Parsons and they are just not that good I don’t think Parsons made 1 tackle against the Saints. Your typical Prescott - throw interceptions or 2 yard passes when it is 3rd and 11 or 4rh and 9 and Lamb is lazy. Jogs on most of his routes and won’t block for anyone As long as Jones owns the Cowboys they will not make it to a Super Bowl again Quote
Coach85 Posted September 15 Report Posted September 15 Along with having the worst $200+ million quarterback in the league. That is the worst deal I think any team has ever made. Dak hasn't done anything to deserve what he got and backed it up today. You get paid like that and you better put points on the board every time you hit the field, Have at least a 90% pass completion rating and not throw any interceptions and no fumbles. Now he is for sure the most over rated QB in the league. You can say what you want about his stats and all but stats don't win playoff games and Super Bowls. He has proved that many times. That playoff game last year was the worst debacale ever. He said it's not about the money. I didn't hear him telling his agent to just get me signed as soon as possible regardless of the money. Quote

spidersal Posted September 22 Report Posted September 22 It doesn’t appear that the Cowboys will make the playoffs this year. They possibly have the worst defense in the NFL. offensively they have no running game, Prescott is not very good and Lamb can’t even get open and if he does, he fumbles. The OL is also one of the worst in the NFL There is no doubt in my mind that they have the worst coached secondary in the NFL Quote
spidersal Posted October 15 Report Posted October 15 The Cowboys will not make the playoffs this year. If you watched the Detroit game there was very little effort by the Cowboys Diggs is supposed to be their fantastic secondary player. He not only does not cover anyone, he will not tackle anyone. IMO the OL, secondary, and LB’ers are possibly the worst in the NFL. Prescott and Lamb are not very good either but they are making a lot of money Quote

Razor Posted October 18 Report Posted October 18 The Cowboys will not win so long as Jerry Jones and his family are running things...they are out of touch and have no idea how to build and run and franchise (except into the ground)...they are more interested in selling seats and merchandise and creating a Hollywood atmosphere than winning...this creates a soft culture...they pay people at the wrong time, overpay them and leave little else left to fill out the rest of the roster...football is a team sport, but Jerry and Stephen cannot seem to figure that out...the roster is top loaded, but the complimentary pieces are and have been subpar since Jimmy Johnson left...Jimmy knew how to build a roster (Jerry was frankly lucky with that hire and he blew it)...the only other time he hired anyone who he allowed to build a team was the Parcells hire and he did that out of desperation...he wanted a new stadium and knew that he couldn't get enough support coming off of 3 consecutive 5-11 seasons...Jerry is a very smart business man but an absolutely awful football man and his ego is too big to give control to one bullets13 1 Quote
bullets13 Posted October 18 Report Posted October 18 Dak is a good qb, but he’s not transcendently great. When you overpay him, he’s not good enough to drag along a mediocre team with him to glory without the pieces that they can’t afford after giving him too much. He needs a good o-line, an elite running back, and a solid defense. Where does the money come to pay for that when he’s making what he’s making? Quote
baddog Posted October 19 Report Posted October 19 K.C. Chiefs do it. I think it’s the coaching. There is plenty of talent on this team…..not enough discipline. The year Dak went down with the broken ankle, Zeke made the comment that he guessed he was going to have to “step up” his game….REALLY? This is the type team you get when the prima donnas are molly coddled. It’s also a result of not playing in pre-season. Jones is everyone’s scapegoat simply because he is not liked. In reality, he has tried to assemble a talented team. Free agency is a killer but so is complacency when the talent is there. Biggest mistake I’ve seen this team make is letting Amare Cooper go and bringing back washed up Elliot. This team really has no spark and that falls on the top 3 coaches….HC, OC, and DC. Just my humble opinion. Quote

spidersal Posted October 28 Report Posted October 28 Dallas May have the worst defense in the NFL. I know by watching them that they are poorly coached. Zero pressure on the QB and a secondary that has to rank as one of the worst in the NFL. The LB’ers are out of position all the time(that is poor coaching) Offensively the OL is not very good. They can’t run the ball, a ton of penalties, and the RT can’t pass protect at all. Prescott is average at best and may lead the lead in throwing interceptions I just don’t see much effort and they may not win more than 2 mores games this season Quote

He is the 23rd ranked QB in the NFL. X: Dak Prescott has multiple interceptions in 4 games this season, the most in the NFL. Justin Fields (benched), Andy Dalton (near end of career sub in) and Bo Nix (rookie) are all better than Dax right now. And Dak makes something like 10X the money of all those three, combined. Quote
