Still football related…but I was impressed with the way WOS had the food trucks , the music , and the tailgate thing going on tonight. Very community oriented…..just saying…anyway, you fellas said everything that needed to be said about this game, but my God that was a good Turkey leg tonight.

I heard those turkey legs are very good too, I need to get down there for the experience. Mustang 4 Life!

I've seen a time when CT said no hand shakes. JD3 still went to midfield to settle up with BC that game too.

That was a very emotional game, and I’m almost certain WOS only drew one unsportsmanlike late in the fourth for a late hit out of bounds on our sideline.

That’s having your team under control… something  neither coach can claim tonight.

The food truck industry is not part of the district. Very community involved for sure. But this is only because of the failures by the district. Anyone try the concession stand? I haven't. Because all food profits from the concession stands go back to the cafeteria fund. When over 80% of our students qualify for free lunch paid for by the govt. Why should I put profits back into that dept? The way I understand it is the turkey legs are for project graduation fund raising. Which the organizers had to fight with the administration to even be able to sell them on district property.

I may be wrong but I think the turkey leg deal is for some kind of scholarship fundraiser..school is involved it’s all board members working it!

I" want to know when was the last time someone held WO.S to just 6 points. 🐅🏈

Here I Is.. Ok miss fired on that call. I'm not from either WOS or Silsbee . Wos is not as bad as many think. Newton beat them yea. Newton also beat Silsbee most eveytime they played so just because Newton beats a team doesn't mean they are terrible. I see many discipline problems with wos that need to be addressed. Congrats to the Tigers.

Even you understood the point of the post.

Bottom line is last week I talked about the point of no return still being so far away. I don't think so anymore. Alumni jumping the fence, being escorted off the sideline. Fans screaming at coaches after this mess of an ending. H started to grab a player who was talking to his fam... another WOS tradition. Then realized it was a bad idea with all the irate fans around. So he just stood there with arms crossed like I'll wait on u. But as more and more fans started giving him the business. He high tailed it out real quick.

The same HC that could be heard directing profanities to a player on the sideline early in the game. The same coach that didn't seem to eager to go check the injured Mustang on the field. Then after he did finally jog, yes he jogged out there. He stopped to grab a player by the facemask before getting to the injured player being tended to.

Priorities? Do we have them? What are they? Not teaching the basics on the field? Not teaching life lessons off the field? Kids that have no discipline? Coaches that kids can relate to? Molders and leaders of young men? Who thought it was a good idea? Who thought it would be this bad? Who thinks it can continue?

That actually makes even more sense. This admin would undercut the PSG and do exactly what they denied access to. I bet they thought it sounded like a great idea when it was 1st brought up.  And then... why don't we do it and make them stay off campus?

Last season. PNG held us to only 6 at DRH. Their season ended in Arlington. I predict the same for the Tigers. That was good team they fielded tonight with alot of firepower. Miller is obviously a cut above any WR I've seen personally in a loooooong time. But the supporting cast around him is also more than capable of ruining a defensive coordinators adjustments. The staff over there should be able to get these kids settled down with the mistakes and penalties. Especially now that they proven they can beat a good team?

    • That should tell everyone something pretty clearly. Does anyone really think BH is recruiting elementary kids, to get them to transfer in Jr. high? Seriously? Here is the "dirty little secret" about BH: Most people move to the district for a quality living environment to raise their young family, and benefit from the outstanding acedemics at BH. Even If all athlectics suddenly disappeared from BH, people would still want their kids in the district. If thats not enough to convince anyone, and BH really was determined to recruit, first step would be to have open enrollemnt. It is closed.        Yes, I get it, no one ever wants to give BH the benefit of the doubt on anything. Some of the accusations are beyond ridiculous though. This paranoia the BH critics are afflicted with is not just sad, its flat out laughable.
    • Opting is always an option. Are they considering any BC assistants? Highly qualified after that season they put up.
    • Be that as it may, only time will tell. Hide and watch. Don’t be surprised if the next HC hire uses his own recipe. That happens more than not historically. I am not arguing the point that Hooks & CT had a winning combination that could’ve been carried over. I’m saying that finding someone to do that is not going to be as easy as one might think. Tell me again why Saban’s replacement, who even has Saban’s assistance if he wants it, just lost another game to an unranked team and has taken the Tide out of playoff contention? Why wouldn’t he just follow the success of possibly the greatest college football coach ever lived?
    • We've acknowledged having 2 HOF coaches hasn't been like most other schools. So why everyone jumps to the conclusion it wouldn't work here is beyond my comprehension. I see it carry over with these other hires. Gilmer, Aledo, North Shore, Austin Westlake. Next man up that continues the system in place has instant success. Matter fact there was 2 rookie HC that won the state championship the same year we handed over the keys. Same book. Same recipe. Better ingredients.
