EC has a 14-15 year old operating the offense the coach has completely disregarded the 18 year old senior back up for Perrault from last season. He did the same thing last year. You have to give kids the chance Sutherland has screwed Purcell. 2 years in a row. He has the mechanics work ethic athleticism he only lacks experience thanks to the coaching staff . They’ll get trampled all district long and won’t make playoffs because the coach is ridiculous.

There are undoubtedly reasons that you have no idea about.  Most importantly.. that it’s completely the coach’s decision.  The coach that continues to be successful.. and led EC on a very deep run relatively recently.  Yeah, I’m trusting his intuition over.. well.. yours for sure.

Certainly you don’t think this kid should’ve played over last year’s district MVP? Certainly not.  Yeah.. it’s bad timing for the kid.

I really don’t have any idea, but, if the senior is evenly remotely close to the young kid as far as talent… I’d personally go with the younger kid.  Because he’ll improve with experience.  Who cares if the senior improves.. for next year? He’ll be gone.

Of course not Perrault was the truth, however when you are up 30 or down 30 you groom your up and coming. He won’t make play offs this year for that reason the young kid should be getting reps. And playing around the field.  I don’t think it is the best decision it’ll pay off for years to come but completely screwing a kids career is ridiculous shows a lack of dignity . Even Perrault didn’t start his freshman year until it fell in his lap. You have to give kids a chance.

Not surprised at all. Kville was scrappy when I watched them in Diboll. IMO they had their best success when the QB had a run/pass option (he’s a solid runner).

EC has a great coaching staff and have won a lot of games. Kirbyville is the better team at the moment.

Out of the country and just thought the score was backwards but I guess not. Congratulations Kirbyvillle. I’m not sure what happened but EC needs to figure it out!!!! All the talk about coaches needs to look at past history and give them a break. Put your crystal ball up.
