This would be a good game to work on some deep balls. Hes getting better with putting some air under them, but still can be a bit flat. Just need to get through game and out of by week with no injuries.(knock on wood)

Just got to focus one game at a time, at least HF is at home.

No disrespect to HJ intended, but Silsbee coaching staff will have to work to keep their team focused and not start playing sloppy ball. Hope both teams have an injury free game. Silsbee this will be a good game to work on improving penalties.

What happened to HJ football. About 5 orb6 years ago, they ran the slot-T and gave Siksbee fits. I think they went 3 rounds deep a few times.

9 years ago. 2014 season. Went to 3rd round and lost to La Grange and JK Dobbins.

Made playoffs in 2016 and 2017, lost in 1st round. Have not made playoffs since 2017.

Heck of a drought. I think it was 2014, they came pretty close to beating Silsbee in Silsbee. Patrick Reed's senior. Same year I came over to Lamar to watch Silsbee lose to Carthage 49-6 in 37 degree weather.

They made the playoffs in 2020… lost 41-10 to Bellville in Bi District

Nope. In 2020 season, HJ finished 3rd in district behind WO-S and Silsbee. Then lost to Bellville in 1st round.

Correct. Bellville was the 2 seed in district that year after losing to Sealy in district by 3… fun fact is Bellville hasn’t lost a regular season game since then.

Their district is pretty weak.
