I agree with the caveat that Lumberton lacks depth. If they stay healthy, they should run the table in district. They have definite secondary and offensive line issues too though. Luckily for them, there are no major standouts teams to this point.

Not sure how Vidor stacks up against the other teams in district because I have not watched anyone else play but Vidor definitely is looking like a completely different team from the start of the season.  Got our QB back, secondary is playing much better, and we have a couple/few RBs that can take it to the house.  Will be interesting to see how the rest of the season pans out.

Vidor is hard to gauge because other than Silsbee not familiar with these schools they scheduled. But they are winning.

Maybe I can help... Vidor did not stand a chance against Silsbee (Not many do lol). Vidors 2nd loss came to the hands of Santa Fe.  Is Santa Fe world beaters, no... are they a decent team...sure. Vidor could have won that game, but the defense played too soft and we did not have our QB.  Next three teams that Vidor played and won are definitely not the best of teams but Vidor is at full strength and healthy for the most part.

St. Louis (Lake Charles) Did not watch that game. So can't comment.

Brazosport has some athletes but are note very well coached.

Trinity Christian from the Dallas area had some decent size kids and their QB had a good arm but for the most part... very unathletic team.

Respectfully speaking, outside of bragging rights..... it probably won't matter much how this district shakes out after the bi-district round.

Probably so… and don’t count out some of the teams they will see in Bi district… Stafford, Navasota, Bay City, El Campo, or Iowa Colony will have the athletes… they are just really inconsistent.

LOL... I guess after everyone's last game we shouldn't play in the playoffs.  Crown a DC and move on to next season.

Exactly. Kilgore is saying "respectfully" 10-4A is all dead in the water, and should not even bother to finish the season.

Good season to all of 10-4A.  Maybe next year will be our year.

Let's not forget about teams losing players to injuries, grades, discipline.  Anything can happen in football.

This week will be a good test for Vidor (playing LCM). I might be biased, but I’m not counting them out in the Lumberton game. Vidor vs Lumberton is in Vidor this year, and it’s our homecoming game. Given the right conditions (depth, prep, etc), Vidor could win the game.
