These were two well coached teams.  But, I figured Silsbee’s offense would be too much for HF to handle.  But, not to be lost in the discussion, Silsbee’s defense is not too shabby!

Totally different game from Last year. Zeno at QB last year was the difference in that game. The kid is out there but limited this year. That’s the difference.

Imagine if they had not lost # 32, and #33, both would be All State Line Backers.

Are they hurt?

#33 is Farr and he is out for the season with a knee injury.

#32 was Quez Carter and the young man was killed in an auto accident right before school started. He was going to be a star on the defensive side.

I would like to say is how about that Tiger defense. Basically, shutting down the high-powered offense of HF which is a tough thing to do. Stopping HF not once but twice inside the ten-yard line. Once forcing a fumble on the five and once just denying them on the six-inch line. A team coming in with most passing touchdowns in our district and giving up zero and holding their passing game to over one hundred yards under their game average. Keeping their rushing game under one hundred yards. Keeping their high-powered offense to just one touchdown. A job well done Tiger defense. TigerNation!!!
