We had 3 teams win tremendous games on Friday night.

Wos beat the #1 ranked team...awesome job!! Your boys worked hard to get to this point and have a chance to play Giddings again...their hard work payed off. Congratulations!!  All of SETX is proud of you and wish you luck next week.

Dayton beat #8 ranked TC...I don't think anyone in SETX had a doubt that you would win. Your team has been playing tremendous football.

Lumberton wasn't expected, by most, to even make the playoffs. They did for the first time in school history and beat the defending state champs. Good job guys!! Good luck next week.

Let's not take away from any of these boys accomplishments by our silly bickering. Each team has worked very hard to get where they are and all of them deserve our respect. Let's remember that some of our teams won't be playing next week...but we were fortunate enough to win our games. So lets all act like winners and show everyone that this is one of the best areas with the greatest high school football and fans around!!

Good luck also to all the teams not mentioned above!! Show them what SETX football is all about!!
