Wish I could find out. LP seems to always hold stuff close to the vest & I’m not very connected anymore. Just a fan.

Bunch of new homes & apartments/townhomes. I assumed a lot were younger families with younger kids. Maybe not.

Of course La Porte is open enrollment also. That may be part of it.

Forney: 2,353

 

Longview: 2,280

 

3 programs that have a pretty good chance of moving up to 6A. 2,220 was the 6A cutoff last time.

 

Rest of the district will remain in 5A more than likely.

I know Forney is growing like crazy. My son & stepdaughter live there. It’s almost solid town on 20 from 45 to Terrell. Couple years ago it was a lot of pasture.
