A&M Commerce punt return has laid several in the ground helping LU tremendously. 21-7 LU with 1:49 until half.

The SLC website (checked it just now) is showing the Northwestern games as forfeits.  This will put Lamar tied with UIW and 1 back of Nicholls if all holds up.  

Next week will set Lamar with an opportunity for a 3 way tie.

41-21 final. LU moves to 4-1 in the SLC and 5-4 overall. 

Tough game next week at Nicholls then wrap up regular season at home against McNeese.
