Well just making sure you haven't forgot L town is still lcms puppy more times than Not....most would take the 23 vs 8 for sure I'm not very good at math though lol I can’t argue with that. Lol. But more than anything I would take a win this year than previous year’s. Except when we beat LCM my senior year. Lol. Quote
bullets13 Posted November 8, 2023 Report Posted November 8, 2023 any chance of them going to a 4A D1 and D2 in basketball in the near future? If so that might make more sense for HJ, depending on where Silsbee and some fraudulent 4A houston schools line up. Quote

WOSdrummer99 Posted November 8, 2023 Report Posted November 8, 2023 Anyone that thinks it's WOS wanting to move up should consider our overall athletics record over the past year and a half. We would not be #1 in 4ad1. Maybe top 10 for 3ad1? Mr. Thornton Melon and setxathlete14 1 1 Quote

setxathlete14 Posted November 8, 2023 Report Posted November 8, 2023 I would not be surprised if this was about Lumberton moving down because they like picking on smaller schools and they know they're group is graduating... Quote

png742 Posted November 8, 2023 Report Posted November 8, 2023 Just my thought on this is that the UIL should not allow teams to opt up. You play the teams that fall in your classification. Then everyone has the same advantage based in student counts. Quote

Lumberton is not moving down. Lol. They're one of the larger 4A's in the state. I know y'all think Lumberton playing LCM is like a bully picking on a smaller school, but that's who's in their district. Not much they can do about it. I know being WO-S's little sister all these years have given y'all a complex, but keep recruiting their players. Y'all will be ok! Quote

JaspD55 Posted November 8, 2023 Report Posted November 8, 2023 If your looking to make a run to a State Championship, IMO , Div 1 might not be any easier? If your just trying to win District or make the playoffs , maybe so, but there is a reason Carthage is very happy in Div 2. Quote

Tigers94 Posted November 8, 2023 Report Posted November 8, 2023 They'll still be in the same number classification, so I don't see what the big deal is. You can't really run from competition for too long anyways. You'd eventually run into a China Spring, who slapped Carthage around in their last meeting before moving up to D1. Quote

I don’t think I have seen any Lumberton fans on here whining when they lost to two different state ranked teams this year, I do remember some whining going on about a team getting a beat regularly from WOS. That said coaches wanting to compete are not afraid of a good opponent, athletes naturally welcome a challenge. Quote

Probably not Deweyville, more like Hardin Jefferson or Bridge City… oh wait, that was Little Sister Mauriceville that scheduled them. 😂😂😂 Quote
