Well after a terrible 1st half riddled with mistakes including a fumble on the 3 yard line, unable to punch it in with a 1st and 3 on the 3 yard line and a bomb pass into the wind that was floated for an easy pick. Someone BH is up by 3 and starting to show signs of tge BH team that we know,

Yes the adjustment at half along with the Eagles getting focused drove them to victory. The 1st quarter was just a continuation of that horrible game in Porter. Hope that is out of their system because a very tough Richland squad is next and they will need complete games going forward to advance.

That 1st qtr and 1st part of 2nd qtr for the Eagles were pathetic.  Dropped TD in the endzone, great run and then fumble on the two and scoop and long gain for MN.  Then 3rd possession, drive to the two, and then procedure penalty, then delay, and could only  muster a FG.  Then MN drives the field and we try and substitute on consecutive hurry-up O by MN and we can’t get our guys off the field in time!! I was more pissed at our coaches looking confused than I was our execution.  I was afraid we were giving NN the emotional edge on a nasty night!  Thank goodness we righted the ship when we did!!  GREAT job Eagles gaining your composure!

Now suck it up and build on the win and don’t pull another Porter game after a big win!!

BH was very fortunate MN just didn’t have the weapons to take advantage of so many 1st half mistakes. Played very well late in 2nd qtr and 2nd half. They cannot afford that with teams remaining. Especially, the shuttling in of players, not once but twice in a few plays, causing too many men on field. That’s coaching when it was clear MN was purposely going hurry up. Too many penalties in 1st.
Still, after doing some research on Richland, anyone of the top four out of R2 D7 may be better than this 11-0 Richland team. Their district appears much weaker. BH should come out and punch them quick and often. Not to ever  take an opponent lightly, but it’s just an observation. Let’s hope for nicer weather.
