I have watched Aldine tear down our old stadium within a year and now stands a new one that is huge and very nice. Maybe by the first of August it will be complete. WOS95 Posted May 15 Report Posted May 15 I'm glad they are making changes on defense. Strong defense is the Mustang identity, it may be boring to some folks, but that's how WO-S has won a lot of games for so many years. Would have like to have heard some new music from LC ,however, we looked and sounded amazing. If this is going to be our band size next year we are growing. I doubt we will be as big though. Mustang1980 Posted May 30 Report Posted May 30 As a former Mustang player it has been tough the last couple of years watching the decay of our football program. Since the “retirement “ of CT the program has lost its swagger. Teams no longer fear us as they have in the past. They smell blood in the water. Our kids have lost their confidence in the program. If the Superintendent and school board wanted to hire a person of color there are so many quality coaches across the state that would have been a much better hire. I pray when HH’s time is up that the school board and community will do an exhaustive search for a head coach with a proven track record. One that exudes confidence and instills discipline back into our once great program.
