NewCardinal Posted November 27, 2007 Report Posted November 27, 2007 Man, that video makes me excited about my future here at Lamar. I can't believe they killed the program. It doesn't look like a bad crowd and everyone was really into the game. Plus, didn't McNeese just win the conference this year with a 11-0 record or something close. I heard they have been good for years.I bet there were a lot of upset people when they voted to kill the program after the Cardinals played like that.
WOS95 Posted December 6, 2007 Report Posted December 6, 2007 that sure is a great video. i cant wait to put on my red and white in support of the cards. seeing that video makes me realize that even though lamar may not be the most well known or be located in the most scenic location, its still our university. meaning it belongs to everyone in the golden triangle and the surronding southeast texas communities. as southeast texans, lamar university should be a reflection of who we are. we need to take pride in it!!! go big red!!!
Guest Nederland Bandit Posted December 30, 2007 Report Posted December 30, 2007 Gosh bring back Football!!!
UNLV Posted September 27, 2008 Report Posted September 27, 2008 I talk to non-football fans all the time. They are excited about Lamar football and pledge to attend the games. They also were concerned about local talent leaving and playing no name teams in Beaumont. I fully agree with the no name teams part.
