Not too shaby, considering Dayton's first two opponents.

Texas City was state ranked as #4 and in the Houston area was #1.

Dayton had 4 turnovers and still only gave up 17 points against a very good offensive team.

Crosby was regarded in many state rankings as a top 30 to 35 team, and the 4th quarter was basically played with Dayton's JV squad.

Using my mathematical "wizadry" I calculated the sums of the Broncos scores and quickly compared them to the other 16 winners.

I bet it is very unusual that 1 team is winning both categories with 16 teams left.

The margin could widen this Friday.
